Rocky Mountain Horses

I recentley reconnected with a good friend from school whom I had not seen in close to 15 years. She's the barn manager at Fair Meadow Farm in Maryland where they breed Rocky Mountain Horses. I've never been around the breed before and I was certainly a fan by the end of the day. They're a blast to ride!
Here are some pictures I took while I was there The Black Pinto is a Spotted Saddle Horse. Enjoy!

Stallion Rocky

3 week old Filly, Lady Godiva

Blue eyed mare, Savannah

My favorite member of the farm, Nikki

Those are some beautiful Rockies!! I have a Rocky myself named Cloud and he is a Palomino There are amazing horses and have a great temperament. I especially love their smooth gait!

They're a lot of fun. Coming from a stock horse background, i've never been around a more mellow stallion before in my life. He was like a puppy dog.
