    Rolling after a bath

Spirit, the barn owner's two sons and I went on a long, super fun trail ride yesterday and the horses were sweating by the time we got back so we hosed them all down. Of course, being horses, the first thing they had to do when they got outside was roll. Spirit picked up so much mud she turned a different color.

Horses are so good at finding the nastiest place in the pasture to roll aren't they?

Yup, guaranteed to happen every time! Walka turns into a buckskin after every bath if he can find a nice muddy spot in the paddock. Have to love those light colored horses!
