    Ruby! (my new puppy)

I know she's not a horse (though I am going to take pictures of her first introduction this week), but I just had to share pictures of her! She's a seven week old Shetland Sheepdog-- sheltie for short. My other Sheltie is 11 years old, and doesn't yet approve of her new baby sister. But I'm hoping that once they get used to each other, Ruby will bring out the puppy in my old dog.

    Sabrina is unimpressed.

Thank you I hope that Ruby will be even half as pretty as Sabrina.

What a little cutie! I adore shelties - can't wait to see her as she grows up (subtle hint for more pictures, lol)

Thanks guys! I'm going to do a better job taking pictures of Ruby than I did with Sabrina. I got her when I was 13, and I only have one picture of her as a puppy.

Here's the only one of Sabrina (the 11year old) when she was 8 weeks old.

    Here she is now

Update on Ruby: Took her to the vet today for her first shots and what not, and the vey said she had a faint heart murmur. She said that that sometimes happens in puppies when they're growing, and that it wasn't aggressive enough to be bad news (meaning we'd have to put her down). She's going back in a few weeks for more shots and another listen to her heart.

If you guys could just keep her in her thoughts, that would be great. I'm already ridiculously attached to her, and it would break my heart to have to let her go.

I wish you much luck with your puppy.
