Sage's New Show Colors (* PICTURE HEAVY *)

Hi everyone, Sage had her vet appoinment Monday morning. She had three caps removed. Two were very very sharp. She was a champ and loaded great considering she's been hauled probably a total of maybe four or five times. She has always been a very willing little filly. I shouldn't say little because she's growing quickly. The vet was impressed with how she is turning out. It made me smile when she said she wish she had her camera to take a picture of her. Haha

We've been working on her right lead. She hates it with a passion. She is getting better but I don't battle with her too much on it. She is still young and I have plenty of time to fix that.

We decided for show colors to go with turquoise and chocolate/black. I ordered a saddle pad and boots to match. We are just waiting on the bell boots to show up. I will be clipping her this weekend and then touch up before the show.

Her New Colors.

The new colours look great! I love the photos, very nice horse to :)

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky

You have such a beautiful horse :] Such bright colors on her almost make her look like a shadow. I love the effect xD They suit her well.
