Sale Pictures - which to choose?

Which one/s do you think are best? Keep in mind he is a TB :)

The first and second photos are the same, the second one is just cropped while the first is a bit satruated, right? I like the second photo, but I'd adjust the saturation (if you can) to look like the top photo. I love the sky, horse, grass contrast - really eye grabbing. However I dislike the third photo because of his stance and how it effects the looks of his legs and the prominence of his wither.

Thank you for teh advice! :) The first and second pictures are actually two different ones although very similar. I'll play around with the second one a bit and see what I can do. They havn't been touched at all yet.

The second one is the best for sale I think.

You can see all his legs (unlike the 3rd) and he is holding his head better :)

Is none of the above an option?

In the first two photos he looks camped out behind and it almost makes him look like his back hurts or something, the way he is stretched. (It looks like someone tried to set him up like he is an Arabian.)

If you take more take them on a solid level surface. People are going to want to see his feet too.

Also include a headshot if you can. In my experience, people like a close-up of his head

Definitely not the third. There are different styles of conformation picture out there - stock horse people like to have the legs totally square from the side, while sporthorse people like to have the off-side legs framed by the near-side legs, with the horse looking straight ahead. If you have some Practical Horseman magazines laying about, take a look at the Conformation Clinic and see what I mean. If not, here:


Get some riding pictures too, if you can. A lot of people write off ads if there are no riding pictures - and remember, it's better to hold off on advertising until you have the best possible visual representation of your horse than to start advertising with whatever pictures you've got laying around.

I don't like the first 2. I agree that it makes him look like he's standing stiff due to some sort of pain.
The 3rd one isnt great but it would do.

Don't like either of the first two..IF I had to chose between the 3, I'd prefer the last one. But like the others said, I'd try for something like Dante posted.
