I haven't posted any photos of Saro in awhile. Here are a couple with her new breast collar and saddle.
She did really well excepting the back cinch. She had never had one on before. I'm not fond of them so I may end up taking it off anyway
She is also doing very well in her training, just an FYI for anyone wondering Her stifle still locks on occasion but it is happening less and less the more work/exercise she gets.

Wow, she is absolutely stunning in blue. I hope that the stifle issue continues to get better and eventually disappears completely.

Thanks Jen, I didn't buy that halter and collar together. Both were mail ordered. I was amazed how well they matched.

Wow Maureen, she is gorgeous! I agree, that blue is striking on her. So glad her stifle issue is getting better. I also like your saddle very much, looks comfy!

That blue just matches her coloring perfectly! Love it

Hopefully her stifle problem continues to get better....if you don't mind me asking, what's it caused by?

There are many reasons for the problem. With Saro I believe it to be a conformation fault compounded by a growth spurt. It was bad enough last spring, we were contemplating surgery and we quit riding her. We keep her on supplements and lots of exercise. I also limit her riding time to 1 hour for now. When we do ride, we do tons and tons of hill work. Crossing the creek is getting very tiresome for her since thats pretty much the only steep inclines we have
