Scout at the new barn!

I was looking for a new place to board Scout due to too many problems where I was. A friend and I moved our horses together Friday. Thought I'd include some pictures of Scout, Apache, and the new place!

A pond leading to trails, we're allowed to fish.

The tack room with ample space. It's much larger than my old barn, and I get my own saddle rack! No more of my stuff laying on the ground.

Barn aisle way.

Walking out the back of the barn, overlooking the arena, a couple more pastures, and the lake.

Arena, very nice.

Finally, Scout enjoying his new surroundings. He's actually got grass now! Other appy in the background is Apache, my friend's horse- thankfully they're friends also.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is today.

LOL! I'm in Virginia. Another amazing thing is that it's historical. All the land was the first Governors of VA property.
The BO is a total neat freak, so the whole place looks fit for royalty.

Looks like a great place.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Can I just say that your new barn is stupidly beautiful! like its absolutely breath taking! and I love both your appys! i'v always wanted one. Instead I have my solid coloured paint horse LOL with my luck when i get my appy eventually i'll end up with a solid one of those to :P ENJOY YOUR NEW FARM!!!

P.S. i love the historical factor as well. If i moved to a place like that my boyfriend would be ecstatic! he loves history.

Beauty is not diminished by those who refuse to see, hear, feel or in any way sense it. If you refuse to see beauty its you who is weakened.
