So yes, we did buy a big kid camera. It's a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I'm soo excited. Still learning how to use it, but I will be using it at races from now on to take pictures and sell them for the equestrian team's benefit. It really excels at taking pictures in those dark half-covered arenas where most other cameras fail. So here you go, I know I don't post picture threads very often so this is a special occasion.

So I'll show you guys my artistic side -cough-not-coughcough- first. :)

Her tail is so thick it's ridiculous, the pic doesn't do it justice. If only it would grow down instead of out.

Nice! I have the canon T3i too :) love it! I took a photo class before buying, it was a required design class and because I was afraid to have a big kid camera that I knew diddly about. The booklet that comes with it has some awesome photography tips, I definitely recommend going through it. Have fun!
