    She's home! (Zima)

"Zima" arrived last night! She was a little nervous about walking into our barn at first and took a bit of convincing but I don't blame that on her as almost every new horse we have had has been afraid of our barn for whatever reason. But my son was out playing and making a racket, my dogs were running around barking, and it was dark out but she took it all just perfectly and other than a few loud snorts was fine. Once inside she settled right into her stall and munched on her hay while the kid and dogs played (very noisily) in the aisle and I gave her a good grooming. I am absolutely delighted to have her here! She is very responsive and seems to adore people so it'll be a nice fit. I also brought Poco in to meet her over the stall and he was all happy about a new girl around but very much a gentleman. She flicked her ears back and went to bite him once and he just backed up and dropped his head like a child who had been beaten lol, he's such a wimp when it comes to the girls!

Sorry the photos suck, it was dark in the barn and I took them on my phone.
