My friend finally posted the shots from the light horse show we went to! I love these shots because they never betray how absolutely livid I am with her in most of them.
Apparently she only got our good moments!
It was a lousy show from the start, we did good in gaming but the next day for the real show the judge was a DICK. This is a completely "rinky dink" nothing fun show that you pay like $3 a class for. NOBODY here is "top show quality". The guy scolded me in my showmanship class for not doing a better job of hiding Jynxy's year old scar. Wth?! How does that have ANYTHING to do with showmanship? After the class, he lined us all up and reemed ALL of us out for being total disappointments and walking into his ring "unprepared". Like, where on EARTH do you think you are buddy? NATIONALS? Get real. We all had beautiful turnout, we just struggled with some movements because some of us have NEVER done this (me included).
Jynx was a screaming blithering idiot the entire time anyway, so it's not like we were placing even with a good judge! I'm glad these photos turned out though! I LOVE my shirt - my friends mom made it for me and you cannot say it is NOT epic and obnoxious!!! LOL

Entering showmanship

Trying to make her stand like less of a goon LOL

Fixing mane I think

Set up for inspection by Judge Crochety Pants

Attempting our turn on the haunches LOL

English time! Even SHAY-LA didn't place and this was the girl who got over 70's at Walk Trot, Training Level AND 1st Level Dressage (first time ever) at the last schooling show, beating out many coaches and trainer. Who did he pin? Well naturally the Western horses in English tack...

She looks so innocent LOL

I like to stare down a lot apparently...

Prancy prance!

SRSLY. She was NOT actually this good. Kim is just an amazing photographer!

Western Pleasure which ended disasterously for us (she freaked repeatedly, bolted, and then my belt popped off so we got to stand in a corner for the rest of the class!)

She's just tricksy and likes to make me look like a liar.
