Showing off my baby!

this is my 9 year old APHA gelding, Impressed By Thunder, but to everyone who knows him he is O'malley or just Pony! He was originally trained as a barrel horse, but unfortunately for him he just wasn't quite fast enough to be worth a hoot to them. So he ended up being neglected and rescued by a group who does Therapeutic riding! He has an awesome personality and will stand stock still for little hands to groom him all day long, but he gets frustrated with multiple people riding him. It was during this time that I fell head over heels for him, and knew he was the one for me. When it came time for the barn to downsize, he got the boot, and I got my best friend! This august will mark a year that we have been together and is really just the begging of where I am hoping we can go. We are having fun playing the Parelli Games, trail riding, and trying our hand at the barrels. We are hoping to be able to go to the beach soon and ride there!

If you look at the picture of him being all GQ facing to the left, notice the marking on his sholder; it looks to me like an old timey private eye with his trench coat on and his hat pulled low trying to look inconspicuous!
