Showing off the new halter

I bought my gelding a new halter for Christmas and have only got to use it twice, but I absolutely love it and want to buy my mare one (a red and black one, though, lol). Anyway, here Dakota is showing off his new hunter green and black rope halter! (I usually donít like rope halters, but this one is thick and just very, very awesome!)

Yeah, hunter green is my boys color... I love it on him, though I also think he'd look good in a nice dark blue... lol. So far, I like green better.

Very pretty! Forrest green looks great on him, what a nice pressy!

I always had a hard time with those stupid "knots" on rope halters.

I'm loving it! Lol... My boy can sometimes be a little... pushy... in a regular nylon halter (not often at all, just sometimes after I don't mess with him for a while), but with the rope halter he's extremely respectful... I guess it has more 'bite' to it... Lol.
