Skye and her BFF!

One of the barn cat's just loves Skye, and Skye seems to rather like him too. He goes riding too.

Its gotten to the point where I have to lock the cat in the tack room otherwise he will sit on the mounting block and meow the whole time I am riding, or make a flying leap from the arena fence to Skye's back.

Wallaby, tinyliny and busysmurf like this.

Awww! My horse Mason has his very own kitty too. They were the best of friends, Mason would gently rub his lips all over her and the kitty would roll over on her back. Mason would always look for his kitty when I had him in the barn and would nicker softly to her. I'll have to post some pics, I have some heart warning ones of them cuddling.

Its funny how gentle she is with him. When he is on her back she moves real slow and carefully, and when he digs his claws in she just grunts and looks back at him and he behaves himself again.

So cute. Amazes me how different species can understand each other.
