Default Sleepy Time
I had to go catch my horses this morning because my mare was getting her shoes reset... found them both lazing about in the sun/shade... They really didn’t want to get up...

My gelding was more cooperative then my mare, though... he finally got up after I tugged on his lead... my mare refused to get up when I tugged on her lead and instead flopped over on her side completely and was like a dead-weight... my cousins were in their yard laughing at me while watching me tug and scream and push on my mare trying to get her up (I was literally screaming and laughing ‘‘get up... come on, get up!’’)

Yeah, she was not cooperative this morning... at least, not until the farrier arrived.

Yep, lol... She really just wanted to lay about... but she got up in the end and behaved perfectly for the farrier (for once... most of the time she behaves, but pulls way a little... this time she just dozed and stood 100% perfect).

Too true on the second 'quote'... I think that may have been what she was thinking when she flopped over...
