Soda and Lily *lots of pics*

Lily's been home about a day now and seems to be fitting right in. Soda and her are separated for now. They seem to be fine over the fence, but as I've said before he's an aggressive biter. Just learned she's got a hell of a double barrel kick too. This could be an interesting relationship!

He got extremely "excited" when he realized it was a girl. Acted extremely studdish, prancing, head up, neck arched.... He um, "took care of himself" yeah... Thankfully my neice didn't notice...

This is right before she squealed and showed us how well she could kick.

There was lots of this kind of interactions. She'd occasionally squeal or threaten to kick. She reared up a little one time too.

She's as bad as Soda, won't stop following me around when I'm trying to take a pic!

Poor boy, so neglected. Actually he loves to roll, especially in the mud.

"Why are you on that side Mom?"

Ahhh, they're so cute!

The vet is coming out this afternoon to do a vet check/flex test. Hopefully she passes so I don't have to take her back. I'll more than likely lunge her tomorrow night and see how she does. Maybe I'll get a video of her movement.

Aw, she's adorable. She makes Soda seem so huge LOL. I'm sure they'll get along great after she shows him who's boss ;p.

Oh, and BTW, if you ever want rid of Soda, you can dang sure send him my way .

LOL, I know she just looks tiny next to him. I was going to work on his ponying skills (both leading and being led), but I'm not sure how well that'll go with a horse that small. One of these days I'll actually stick him, but I think he's taller than 15.2 (she's 13.2).

This might be the first time ever that he's been put in his place. Funny that it's a little pony that might do it!

He is a handsome boy isn't he? I love just looking at him. He's a really fun horse to ride once you get him paying attention to you. Sometimes I feel bad like I should "do something" with him besides trail riding and screwing around. But then I realize that he's probably a heck of a lot happier screwing around than running patterns or being a show horse.

Haha, you are doing something with him. It would be a shame to see a horse like him just sit in a pasture year round with no interaction, but so long as he has a job, that's all that matters.

Yup, I found this one last week and I really liked her when I went to see her. Brought a couple of friends along and they "approved" also, especially the girl that's trained before. She needs to pass the vet check before everything is final.

I actually expected it to take a lot longer to find a horse, but I didn't want to pass her up. Paid $450 for her too so she was quite a bit below my budget.

Loved the pictures. Your new little girl is gorgeous! I might have to fight Smrobs cause I'd take Soda in a heartbeat. Stunning horse.
