Soda pics

Some pics from a couple weeks ago back when my paddock actually looked ok. Now it's just gross looking with all the snow melting. Not really complaining though, the sooner it melts the sooner summer is here!

He's so handsome! I'm not looking forward to the melting either, to me it's the worst time of the whole year.

Thanks, he was being a lil **** that morning. Wanted to run, so I thought I'd take some pics until he realized he actually wanted to hang out. My paddock is going to be really gross this year I can already tell. I think I'm going to work out some grading this summer to make some higher spots, my dad re-did the paddock last summer and I'm thinking that the horses ended up with more low areas.

He is stunning, I've always loved the stripes on his legs that is just so unique.
As for the weather I can understand that completely, it is finishing up melting here and instead of a foot of snow it is now a foot of mud. I can't wait till summer arrives.

Thanks I think he's pretty handsome too, but I'm a tiny bit biased.

It's definitely getting muddier. There's even a couple of patches of pure mud right now, but it's mostly ice w/ a lot of manure on top and a couple waterholes. I pulled out my mud boots the other day though. According to the weather man it's going to be above freezing for awhile so I'm sure the ice will be gone soon and it'll just be manure/mud.

D; I still have 3-4ft of snow to go. Thankfully I have a sacrificial pasture xD

Yup, we've always had one, it would be nice if if had nicer footing, but it is what it is. They really do save your pasture. I can't imagine the damage if they were kept out in the pasture all winter/spring. We wouldn't have any grass at all.

Actually I can imagine it, you see it all too often in my area. Pastures just full of weeds and dirt.

The snow is melting here too. It is so nasty. I am so happy that my horses haven't figured out Mud-Roll-Dirty, stinky, nastiness for Dani.
Soda is a beautiful horse, I love the coloring around his belly.

Thank you! I know as soon as there is a spot of mud big enough for him to roll in he'll be COVERED in mud.
