Solid Choice Okie, new horse. :)

This is the third time I've typed this, so slightly annoyed that it kept refusing to upload it. XD

I got a new horse today, as the title says I got a new horse today, but he comes with a story. Not a sad story like Lena, or a miracle like Phoenix, a happy story none the less.

I sales prepped this yearling gelding this previous school year. Along with sales prepping him, I also used him in a showmanship pattern that we were scored on. Us two placed first out of my class, I was so proud of him. At the beginning of the two months, I didn't much care for him. I hadn't really attach to any of my horses that I trained. Though after a few weeks I grew pretty fond of him. After the showmanship we just connected even more. Well. At the end of the year he went up for sale on an auction. The last day of the auction I started to bid on him, but one person in particular kept bidding again me and my mom told me no more. So I did, a little disappointed but I did. My instructor told me, "He will put him up for sale again, you will be able to buy him then." Well, she was right. I was headed back to Oklahoma from Kentucky when a friend called and told me he was on Craigslist for sale. I got a bunch of crap situated and my parents said I could. I almost didn't get him this time, as the guy said he might already be sold but he hadn't been paid for. I told him that I would come pick him up the next day and pay for him there. So I set up a time, and drove two hours from home to pick him up and take him home. I'm pretty happy he is here. :)

Before being sold.-
