Some new pics of Simba, our new "project" pony

Hi all!

For those who are interested, here are a few snaps of the new pony Simba - the one who was in a right state and who's owner wouldnt worm him in fear that "he gets fat".

Don't mind the background in some of them. The back of our house is still very much a building site, and trying to push the baby's buggy any further into the field was a pain in the tooth so I brought Simba up .

Since we got him home he's been rugged, and thankfully is starting to shed out some of that big fluffy coat a bit. He's in desperate need of a good bath but the weather will need to get much warmer before I do that. He's been wormed, I have the dentist coming in as soon as he's in the area again and the farrier will hopefully be here this weekend.

What a sweet little guy! Glad to hear you've taken him in. Do you have any idea of his breed/age?

I was told he was 7 but that changed to 6. I was a bit worried about the age but he seems chilled enough, so will get the dentist to have a good look at his teeth and see if we can narrow it down a bit. As for breed, no clue, I say he's got a good bit of shetland in him but couldnt be sure.

If anybody can offer insight, be much appreciated! :)

Definately looks atleast half shetland to me as well, as I have two who look similar to him. Hefty, fuzzy, and with giant heads xD
