Some new pictures of Onyx

I haven't really posted any pictures in awhile so I thought I would update everyone on how Onyx is doing, he was a bit of a handful at my sister Naomi's first 4-H meeting but was amazing at the 2nd meeting, everyone kept asking me what I had given him to make him so relaxed but I didn't give him anything, I think the first meeting he was a little excited about all the new horses and people, I was really glad he did so good at the last meeting, he has his first riding meeting tomorrow and I think he will do pretty good.








WOO HOO!! It has taken so long to get him to where he will let you mess with his ears!



Here are some under saddle pictures, please no critique on Naomi, the saddle I have is too big for her and I haven't had the chance to find a new kids saddle for her, we have a pony saddle but its way to small, we are going to try using my English saddle and see if we can get the irons short enough for her. She has just been walking him.

Thanks! Yep he always gets dapples in the winter but when he sheds out they go away... I think it because in the winter his hair gets sun bleached and he turns brown so you can see the dapples but in the summer he stays really black so you can't see them. Lol! Its weird.

Its been raining on an off today so don't know if were going to be able to ride or not... :-/ Naomi will be showing Onyx, probably not in jumping since this is there first year showing, as of right now they will only being going walk trot classes, we will just have to see how everything goes, first show is in may.
