Sooo I Broke My Shoulder Today...But...

I got some nice pictures today of one of my pride and joy fillies. I was riding one of my greenies when she bolted as i was getting on. I rolled off nicely but landed shoulder first again. did it 3 weeks ago with Magnum on his first road ride. This is the best part my dad had gotten my a Fuscia colored helmet because he was scared I'd bust my knoggen working with my green horses. Well I'd worn it all evening when working them. no problems but the one time I was just putting a foot up to practice PK bolted out from under me, I had taken it off cause I didn't plan to get on again. I had my foot almost in the stirrup. But otherwise I got some nice pictures tonight and I was happy that I got at least 2 fillies got ridden today. Well a mare and a filly. Rain is the Arabian x Paint Filly (3 yrs) and PK is the dun BS APHA (6 yrs). Here are the pictures. Hope you enjoy Right now I'm running around my apt with a sling and an ice pack strapped to me. to the clinic at 7:30 for the x-rays and orders... pooh

gorgeous horses though :p

Gypsy gold does not chink and glitter. It gleams in the sun and neighs in the dark

Ouch indeed. At least it wasn't anything with your head. Falling is never any fun but at least you did get the other 2 ridden before it happened. Also, not jumping down your throat or anything but why are you riding a greenie in tennis shoes??!!?

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog:

cuz i'm a moron lol, Yea I know. I have my cowboy boots inside the house and I never remember to grab them when I get on would prolly save my life if I were to be dragged. I'm waiting for the clinic to open right now2 hours ugh might go back to sleep for an hour but it takes forever to get ready with this shouler. It was really pitiful last night I had to ask my neighbor to open m pills for me cause I couldn't get the childproof lid off...argh.
