    Yeah, it's real. We had these storm heads come over the farm and it mixed in with clear patches. This photo is a HDR which makes the picture look more like the human eye sees it instead of one exposure from a normal camera. Basically the HDR takes multiple exposure (It's called bracketing in photography terms) and then it combines the multiple exposures. The result is what you see.

    Here are other examples I took in the Keene valley in the adirondacks and Taughannock Falls in Ithaca area.. Kinda off topic.. sorry.
