Tack color?

I've had this wintec saddle for a fairly long time, but never used it on my pony except for about 3 times, lol. Started using it on my new horse, and I just am not a fan of black tack. I really want to like it. But I'm wondering what would look better on him? My black set includes the saddle, black headstall, and black and pink barrel reins. I had a black saddle pad, but it is to thin so it goes under everything as a liner.

I can talk myself into selling it without a problem. But I just worry about brown tack on a black and white horse!? But black tack doesn't always look good on other colored horses! AHHHHHH...someone make up my mind for me, please!

I like the black. I prefer black tack myself. I have a black King saddle that I use on both a Buckskin and a Bay Tobiano. :)

I agree with RoCru. I'm planning on getting a black saddle for my B&W paint, too. But you should go with what YOU like better! You're the one who's going to have to tack him up and ride him and look at the stuff-- might as well be what you like, and not what we think

Thats the thing, is I like both. LOL. I'm not a fan of black tack in general. But it works on him. And I know that the color shouldn't matter, it should be what is comfortable. But color is important! LOL.

Occasionally I do ride a chestnut colored horse, and he looks bad in black :/ But I don't ride him any more on a regular basis that warrents my color change.

So I'm really torn. If I sell my black, and the set, I can buy the brown. But....if I wasn't such a 'gotta-have-now' person, I could wait until income tax time, and buy the brown, and just have both

Personaly, I like the brown.
However, I am NOT a fan of the saddle you picked out. It's rather cheaply made. I didn't read the description, but something about pink bling. What if you decide you don't like pink down the road, or want to switch it up a bit?

I'm not set on *that* saddle, but def one like it. And I've also thought about just a good brown leather, w/out the pink seat, because just like you said. What if I don't like pink? (I don't think this will happen, but I am not committing to loving pink for the rest of my life.)

Another saddle I really like is made by King, and if I remember correctly, they are good saddles. I'd really love a circle Y, but can't afford one. I know they are worth the price, but the price is a pretty steep.
