I almost got my camera out for pics of the operation itself as I found it absolutely fascinating. But then I contemplated that the vet might think that a bit weird, and I don't want to be known as the 'weird English lady who takes pictures of castrations' ....

He is recovering so well! My two boys boss him around so he has no choice other than to keep moving so his recovery has been really smooth and easy. I had to do nothing to help him. Which is handy as I have discovered that donkeys are not as easy to move as horses are ......

Poor boy, hope he feels better tomorrow...At least he doesn't have to worry about flies.
