Time to formally introduce the new guy on the block

Now that the deal has been sealed, I can formally introduce my new project
He's a 10 year old registered hanoverian with fully imported bloodlines. Hasn't done a heck of a lot as his previous owner was more concerned with her breeding program and youngsters than competing this boy. He has been out of work for around 12 months, so when I saw the ridiculously low price I couldn't not have a look.
I plan to ride and compete him for the next 18-24 months, until my youngster is ready to go. Then look at selling him on to a junior or amateur rider as a school master.
I pick him up on Saturday, so once he's back in full work I'll pop some under saddle photo's up :)

Congratulations!!!!!!! He is quite the looker and it sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time working together for the next couple of years. Can't wait to hear how it all goes.

He's so handsome! What's his name?

Can we do a rename? At least a barn name. Sphiggi and Billy sound too close.
In any case, congrats and I am sure he will steal your heart.

His registered name is Resphigi, so it just got shortened to Sphiggi - wouldn't want to have a lisp and try to say it!

I wouldn't know what to call him though! And I feel weird about changing horses names, just one of those quirks I have
