It was tons of fun, but there was a bear. The horses were not themselves and we heard and the horses saw something in the bush at one point. And there was lots of fresh droppings everywhere. My instructor said it was likely a bear that we heard.
I didn't get any pictures of me riding or of Pro. I didn't want to get off in case of the bear!
I had the fly mask on Pro today (It was quite the look!!). I'd never ridden with a fly mask on before and I wont ever again
When it got dark he couldn't see well and we ran into 3 lamas walking down the highway. Pro had seen them a million times and never been scared. My instructors horse really didn't like them either. So we got off and led both our horses past to be safe. Once I was off I took his mask off he and was fine.I also added a picture of Dixie and her 2 year old foal Spring wearing their masks on my way out the driveway on Pro.
