    Trail Riding, FINALLY!

Oh man, it's been so long since we went for a good trail ride! My dad was recently in a very serious motorcycle accident that crushed his leg, so I've barely gotten to see my girls I'm so busy taking care of him and my mom. I finally got out for a good long while yesterday, so me and Shay-la went for a nice trail ride! Both were very well behaved, I was impressed!

LMAO, she's not really that small, Shay-la is just tall as a weed and on a bigger horse!

    Zierra face!

    Dove ears!

    Riding through the field!

    Shay-la and Dove!

Dove says, can we go home yet?

Picture of the monkey trails ravine, there was no water in it last year and we used it for hillwork, but not looking like we can this year!

    Heading down the dirt trail

My attempt at being cool while my horse pretends she doesn't know me

ROFL, Shay-la being a dweeb but Dove kept wanting to walk in the mud and trip

    Lovey Dove!

    Perky Zierra!

Giving my girl some loving! And YES, her halter DOES match my hoodie.

What beautiful scenery. Nice place to ride. Looks like ya'll had a wonderful time. Although I can't fathom the purpose of trying to horse surf, lol.

It's Shay-las secret dream to be a trick rider. With those long legs of hers, she was born to do it, so every now and then she practices standing. She can do it not half bad at a walk now, but much easier with a Western saddle.

She ought to look into vaulting! If she likes that kind of stuff, I bet she'd love vaulting.

I know, we've watched tons of video on vaulting! Thanks for that those! The problem being, we literally have NO vaulting type stuff available around here - heck, we're lucky we even have a show population. We're one of the worst populated equine areas in Canada, so we just don't have access to different sorts of alternatives for equine riding. It sucks.

So for now she's stuck trying to kill herself on the placid old trail mares
