Yeah it looks like it wouldn't hurt for him to gain some pounds,
He looks somewhat underweight in the last picture. But were
Just here to help, I've had skinny horses I've had to get back up to weight before too. :P

He looks like a good boy overall, so sweet looking! :)

Yeah, I know he's skinny. When we moved barns he lost a ton of weight, stress I guess. But the new barn has grass pastures so even though he has a bad topline, he is getting fatter around the middle, and when I ride him I double pad him so his back doesn't bleed. Poor guy, we love him so much we don't want him to have trouble and everytime we see him we say get fatter boy, get fatter, now if only he would.

    How old is he?
        08-09-2008, 03:04 PM
Well..they -said- he was 13 but the guy we got him from basically took him from his old owner promising to give her the money when he sold her, but he undersold to us and kept the money, claiming that he just wanted to get rid of him, so he's not that honest, lol. His teeth show older than 13 and we have had to think about retirement before. :( he is getting better though, so I guess we will see.
