Ultimate Trail Course

(Click the photo to see the slide show!)

Just wanted to share these pictures of my 3 yr old WP horse doing an ultimate trail course put on by a local saddle club. This was SO MUCH FUN!! We had to go over logs, up hills, across bridges, through tarps & a lot more. The only thing Jin wouldn't do was go through the water (cuz he thinks he's too pretty to get dirty!). The water was as deep as the horses' bellies so I can understand why he wouldn't like it!

That does look like fun. And for a three year old he seems pretty calm throughout the shots. Very nice.

And no wonder! I wouldn't do water either, look at you all bundled up! It must have been freezing! :P

That looks like so much fun! Did you have to drag something behind you? It looked like it in one of the shots.

Yes, we had to drag a log for about 20 feet. It was heavy! Jin did wonderful & just chugged along!

Don't be sorry....I love him too!

I thought someday I would sell him....just because that's what I seem to do (buy young, train them, show them, sell them). But he's turning out to be my dream horse so he might be with me for a long long time!
