thanks.... shortly after she heeled she got strangles and was really sick so she got two big blows to her she has been a real trooper she was sent to me for a reason and im thankfull for everything she has brought me even if i had a 6000 dollar vet bill she is worth every penny

wow! I am glad she still has her eye too!!! I thought for sure she lost it...

Is she more spooky and shy now? How much impact did it have on her mentally?

I was amazed at how good she looks. Her face dosent even look like it has a scar.
I also think that people are "given" horses for a reason. My first two horses ended up going lame on me (permenantly). I always get the injured pets. I think someone up there knows I wont give them away, because I seem to get alot of broken ones.

no she isnt spooky at all now when we ride and i here a car coming i turn her and make her look at what is coming up the road and she does great . but my horse was one of the lucky ones and i dont want to have to put her through any of that again
