I was undecided about it. I used it first with a D ring snaffle till we got used to it. Then our regular Myler which has some gag action...hated that. The new bit fits better without having to really torque the bridle to almost the too small state. Its taken me awhile to figure out how to put it in her mouth and snap it at the same time. Thank god Vida is patient
I was really wanting it to work since Tony was so sweet and got it for me.

Vida, what is the bottom of the pad made from? The top looks very nice though. :) Brand new (for couple weeks :) :) ).

The bottom is felt kitten. I used a cotton baby pad under it at first because Vida normally doesn't like felt. For some reason she likes this one. The top is leather

Sorry the background is such a mess, I just noticed that. The wind had been blowing fiercely and I haven't uprighted everything yet.

Hm. Interesting. I have to check may be our local one carry those. I got Reinsman pad recently (not cheap ), but havn't try it yet. Used to buy those cheap ones for $20-30, but even though they seem to fit they slip all over my qh back on ride (doesn't matter how tight is the girth)

As promised here she is with her crupper and breast collar. We got another ride in today just before the high winds blew in. My new black rope reins haven't arrived yet I think they will look nice. Guess it only matters what the tweety birds and I think anyway. They are pretty much the only ones who see us.

Her bridle is really interesting. Those clips are quiet handy, I guess the bridle is build as a bridle/halter? It looks like the clip is made so you can remove it and convert it without having to take anything off? I had never seen it before. Where did you find a bridle like that?

My husband bought us each one on Ebay. Its more for trail riding than any other discipline. It makes one less thing we have to carry on rides. Just slip the bit out for lunch breaks etc. The reins I ordered are Sampson yacht braid so they will double as a lead rope for the same reason.
