i like Errowyn for the filly

gelidity means extreme cold or frost
Rime also means frost

i think he looks like a Danner myself though

Dante for the TB and Trinity for the girl :)

I can't really see her as an Errowyn because PD's blue roan filly is named that. I don't know why, but my first thought was Folara for her. I can certainly see the TBxBelgian. I see the draft in her head/neck and coloring and the TB in her legs and body.

Surprisingly, there are very few synonyms for Frost. Maybe Chill or Knik (name of a glacier in Alaska).

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Thanks all! Frost would be an OK name itself but a little over done. Lilkitty those would be interesting names for him too.

I think the girls have settled on Arliss for the Paint gelding (the naughty little boy from Old Yeller and a unique older name) and Aliyanna for the filly (means beautiful girl) We'll see if they stick.

Belgian Thoroughbred you think? Thats an interesting thought. I've been thinking Belgian/Arabian with the refinement and legs but that is possible to. With some feed I think she has room to get taller yet and of course bulk up a bit too.

I would name then Joy or Julian and Jack. For the breed, I would say for the mare I definitely definitely see QH in her. She definitely is NOT a belgian. I think she is gorgeous and nice rescues. They look pretty good, I mean they aren't like see-the-ribs skinny. Have a nice day.
