We finally got a grasp of pole bending...

It seems I was doing it wrong the WHOLE time. I always thought you mount the horse, you run your butts off, zig zagging through the poles in two directions, then run your butts off home. We just couldn't make it happen quite right & I kept wondering, what am I doing wrong. Apparently... it was the first step. I had it all wrong from the start.

People think I'm so weird with the amount of time I spend with him on the ground. Pah! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I truly enjoy showing him what I expect from him when I can, he seems so much more receptive. Maybe it's because he then views it as a game?
