sorry let me re-state Premarin is a bad thing, It thinks it's bad how they get the mare's urine.
And to answer one of the questions, yes these foals came right from the farm and sorry I messed up on the date, the farm closed down a year ago.
Here is why I think the whole PMU thing is horrible:
~The way the mares are hosted up with the pee cup under her for 6 months, how would you like to be stuck in a stall that long without being able to lay down or barely move?
- Heres a picture of one of the horses Karen rescued, Taya, she is now adopted and in a loving home.

Even though the stall is kind of big, most of the draft breed horses they use don't fit in the stalls.
~Yes they get 6 months out in pasture with their baby, but then their just impregnated right again and what happens to the foals? A lot of them get sent to slaughter. When the foals are auctioned off the farmers don't care where they go. Killer buyers go to the auctions and act like they are going to take these foals to loving homes when the buyers are just going to send them to Mexico or Canada for slaughter.
- Here is Gulliver, Equine Voices mascot, he is six years old:

Here he is at a year old at the slaughter house where Karen rescued him:

Rather or not they are using pedigreed horses, which I personally don't think they are, this is my opinion and I'm not going to reply to this thread any more because I was just sharing photos with the forum and not looking for a opinions on the PMU issue.
Thanks.
