Talking We got snow!!!!

So Brooke and I went sledding. First I rode Caleigh and Brooke was in the sled and then we switched. After Caleigh was put away I rode my new vanner mare Legacy out in the pasture for a little while. Her feathers are coming back in! Both horses were great!

Both your girls are gorgeous!!! However, I do think that Legacy would be much happier living with me and Lacey...

I'm hoping to ride in the snow tomorrow myself (if it sticks around, that is...It's supposed to so hopefully it does...)! I've never ridden in the snow before so I'm really excited.

You guys look like you had a blast!

Fabio - 13 year old Arab/QH gelding
Hazel - 14 year old Angora goat

Atticus - 4 year old LaMancha/Alpine cross goat

~
Rest peacefully, Lacey.

What a lucky girl you are, those stunning horses AND snow!! I'd kill for snow here just once, but poor little South Australia is heading into summer now and we are cooking already, it is so hot!

Yes she's just fine with the lines attached. We did a test run first but we used them to hook her up to the dragger for the arena when the tractor broke so we figured she'd be ok pulling a little plastic sled behind her. She stepped on them once and stopped and gave Brooke a look like "Why'd you drop them?"

Normally we don't get a lot of snow. I'm hoping the snow sticks around a little bit, I want to ride Legacy in the snow again tomorrow and Caleigh of course.

Thank you!
I have a horrible fake smile, I can't smile on command and make it look sincere but I've been told my snapshot smile fits me very nicely. Haha

Oh My Gosh, beautiful horses and pictures. I so could see those used as Christmas cards for family and friends :)

When you give a personal lesson in meanness to a critter or to a person, don't be surprised if they learn their lesson.
