We started jumping!

My paint Remi and I have started jumping, we plan on doing jumpers this summer and what ever else they let us enter!

I am really proud of my boy, he is pretty confident in himself, and takes me right up and over every jump.

For those they don't know him we have had a really rough time, he has been living with my trainer all year even though he is 8 we didnt start him until 5.5-6.
He was really scarey, bolted all the time, didn't repect me in the least and by the end of the summer he bucked me off and dragged me.

He is bow legged which leaves his stifles sore and we have learned together our limits and how to condition and warm him up etc to make it best for us all!

Anyway this is my 'new' boy Remi who is no longer an angry boy but a horse I am confident to depend on over the jumps!

Also I can see I still lean foward I have gotten better then I used to be I swear lol, I found some cool videos and I will be practicing!

NO CRITQUE please! Although I would appreciate advice on giving release! Videos, your words what ever :)

He has really enjoyed jumping and really just goes for it and I don't want to turn him sour by riding on his mouth, I can't just give him all the reins I need to be able to control him when we land.

Anyhoo just wanted to share that we are actaully doing more now
Thanks for looking!

If you can't tell we took off a little late, but my boy made it over!

Thanks!
Means a lot :)

He really enjoys the jumping, thank god!
He is usually on the lazy side when schooling on the flat but you just point at the jump and he goes for it!

I am motivated now more then ever to really work on my position etc. so I don't hold my horse back lol he really wants to get out there!

Wow that's a nice looking canter!

He's just soaring beautifully over those jumps, as are you! :)

Here are more recent pics!
He is getting more grain now, I think that and this was his first time wearing those front boots is why he is over jumping so bad. He was very ambitious! Lol

<3

Still working on my position but I definiantly felt super comfotable He did a couple weird jumps and I had an easy time staying with him.

Planning on w/t/c in 2-point on my appy today weather permiting!

Also I know the lighting is bad but how does my release look? I have been focusing on 'giving' my hands instead of my body lol if that make sense (leaning foward)
Sidenote: I know he takes off too early in pic 3 is that closer to where he should be taking off?
May post this in the critique section but just wanted to share and figured you guys could answer these anyway without me starting a new thread

Thanks
