I don't mind the snow (great workout for the horses!) but I Judy hate that it is dark before I even get done with work! No indoor arena or outside lights, so next to no weekday riding.

Yea, the snow can ball up into ice chunks sometimes. It was still fluffy enough today that it didn't do that. But I carried my hoof pick with just if case.

Wow nice pics of the snow! Still waiting for ours in the Great White North. I'm ready for it. Got all my winter riding gear primed.

I will be going out for a quick ride again this morning! Should be even warmer today as its already 32 degrees outside at 7 am.

Supposed to be nice all week! The snow may dwindle.....

Yesterday topped my coldest day of riding for the year. It was about 22 degrees but it "felt like" 11 degree with the cold windchill. My fingers and face were the only thing that got kind a cold. The rest of me was bundled up tight!

Although I'm sure I'll be able to easily break that record, as today it is only 6 degrees outside right now with a -13 below windchill). Brrr. Chilly.

Supposed to get back up into the higher 40's for the weekend though!

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.

Looked like a lot of fun! I'm ready to get snow so I can ride in it, but that's really the only time I like it!
