Welcome to the world! New Baby!!!

After endless waiting that seemed like FOREVER,
my friend Adair's horse "Pepper," finally delivered her foal
onApril 3rd. She is a long legged little filly and has a blaze
on her face, she takes after her mother.

We don't have a name for her yet, but suggestions
would be kind. :)

What do you think?

Also, my friend and I was wondering why the mare is
acting strange. After having the baby, she has become
somewhat antisocial and stays in the back of the field
alot and doesn't like to be touched like before.
She doesn't mind the baby being petted though.

Wow she is a big girl. For a barn name Shanai (Shan-Eh) just came to mind, not sure why. When Nita had her foal she became rather anitsocial as well, that was my first mare that had. After a week she was better.

What a cutie! I wouldn't get too concerned about the anti-social part, many mares' personalities change after they've foaled - some really sweet mares become very protective of their foals and will become very mean when anyone (horses or humans) try and approach them... after a while they will get less protective.

Sasha
Jade
Kiarah
Shaynah

I think Pepsi would be a cool name cause it sounds like Pepper and she looks so much like her momma

They are adorable!

Aw, what a cute little filly, looks very much like her mother.
Wish I could help with the name, but I'm terrible at that sort of stuff.
