Cool We're Back :)

Yep, my two girls and I are official back to horseforums! I missed everyone and the horses, and some how, some way I'm going to be making up the whole calendar thing.

Anyways let me show you what I've been up too. Last June I moved to Arizona, again, then I moved back to Alabama after Christmas, long story on that one. I'm currently attending college and I'm majoring in Animal Science.

My Horses:
Athena
Got her May 11'. She's a 15y Palomino QH mare and my everything

Shirley's Brittney
8y Bay Thoroughbred mare.
My granddad got her as a yearling, trained and raced her until he retired her 2 years ago. She's not mine but I've been working with her and I treat her like my own. We just sent her to the breeders yesterday and her foal will belong to be.

Here she is all settled in at the breeders

Jade Forest, the stud we're breeding her too.

If I get a filly, I'm naming her Brittney's Beauty and if it's a colt I'm naming him after my two younger brother; Chase N Trey

Racers
These were taken at Fairgrounds Race Course and Casino, not where I actually work.

Purple Barbie, we claimed her that day, she won her race!

This is after they left the gates.

I'll post a lot more racing photos some time in the future, don't want to drown this thread in them lol

And my little puppy, Chloe

It's really good to be back!

Thank you! The stud produces some really nice foals, both racing and other events, and she seemed to take to him right away, of course they were separated by stalls.

Yes he did, here's his information: Equibase Company - Thoroughbred Racing Information

He wasn't that impressive but he produces some fine foals, he's had a couple of stakes winners and such.
My grandfather and I were looking at his bloodlines and such and we found that Gold Stage, Sire to his Dam, was actually a pretty big producer. Jade has half-sisters and brothers on his Dams side that were multiple graded stakes winners. Plus he has Storm Cat on his Sires side, which could be a good thing or a bad thing

Welcome back, lovely horses and cute dog!! Love the pally mare especially. What part of Alabama are you in if you don't mind me asking? I'm about 40-45 miles northwest of Birmingham.
