What horse/pony got you started?

Ok I just want to see some pictures of the ponies or horses that started it all for you. It doesn't have to be yours and you didn't have to ride it or anything but which one got you hooked? I have always loved horses but two little ponies got me truely hooked when I had some lessons a few years ago. A beautiful little old welsh section D pony Chalie I don't have a good picture of her though. Then there was little Logan he was very sweet and always gave you confidence. He is a little dartmoor gelding who was about 11 when I rode him a few years ago. I have heard recently that he has been retired due to illness though and I hope he lives the last of his days in happiness which I'm sure his owners will give him. (sorry its the best picture I have of him)

So lets see yours!!

Thank you! :)
I have no idea why I liked bella so much, she used to bite me ALL the time. She was a horrible little pony, all the other kids were scared of her lol

My wonderful mare got me started a little over 9 years ago. The morning of 17 March 2002 I went to a family friend's ranch for the first time and met a one day old gorgeous little filly. I fell in love that day. I kept with her, helped halter train her, named her, and eventually saved her. I found out they were abusing and neglecting her. She was 300 pounds underweight (500 lbs) when I bought her in June 2004 as a two-year old and was only 14.2 hh. Now she is a gorgeous 1300 pound, 16.2 hh Lead mare with speed and stamina to die for! She's a blast to have around and I'll keep her until the day she dies. I learned 80% of my knowledge of horses from her and I'll never forget her after she is gone :) Alright, here she is.

Sweetheart (DOB: 16 March 2002)

Unfortunately, I have no pictures of her, but a mare by the name of Showboy's Greydoll got me hooked. She was one of my Dad's show horses and my very first memory is sitting on her in front of my dad by our trailer at a show. I would have been about 18 months old then because she went back to her owner shortly after that. There is one picture of her and my Dad during a reining pattern, but I would have to scan it. Maybe one of these days if I remember.

On a regular basis? Po!

This picture is from 2009 and was one of my senior pictures, so I was screwing around. This fat beast is Poseidon (She got her name because she loves to swim). She is owned by the summer camp I work at. She'll be 18 this year. She's a quarter horse.
