What my dad made me :)

I really needed a tack box since I moved to a new barn and they didn't have lockers already there...sooo I begged my dad to make me something for Christmas...drew up what I wanted and he made it :) Even painted it my horses colors!

Thinking about painting the hooks on the door black and the hooks that are on the inside by saddlerack the orange...I bought those ha my dad just put them in for me. Now I just have to get it to the barn!!!!! Its so heavy, my bf and I couldn't get it out of his shed and into my truck so not sure what I'm going to do...see if I can get a few more people to help or borrow my dads little trailer that has a ramp? I thought about putting it in my horse trailer its a step up but pretty low

Very cool! Your dad did a wonderful job with it; That thing looks store bought! I like the color scheme too!

Yes! I'm pretty lucky, he's always been my mechanic and carpenter ha! When I bought my house a few years ago he redid all my flooring and painted for me...and when I was 19 he installed a supercharger on my car hahahaha. I'm conning him into building me a run in shed next, at least I'm going to pay for the supplies for that. He just better not over do it like he did with my box!

It doesn't right now but if I move to a barn where I don't know the people then I'll get a lock for it!

You'll have to post pics of one you get built! And just make sure you tell them what you need. You can't see it well in the pic but I actually had him out a board across the bottom so it's almost like a drawer so I can put my blankets on the bottom and not worry about them falling out..small detail but something I felt was important!

Good job!!! Now you'll have all the other folks at the barn asking for one of those.
