Question whats missing here?

Do you guys notice anything missing on this halter buckle?

It's missing the little "stick" piece that slides into the holes. Maybe it's called a tongue?

Yep...thats what missing. Its the tongue!

My silly boy managed to break it off the buckle while being inside a stall all by himself! How did he do that? The rest of the halter is in perfect shape.

So I had to do some looking around for a double bar buckle. I found one. Its been shipped out. So hopefully this size will work.

I don't know. The crown strap was through the buckle and covering the toungue part. So I don't know how it would get caught. He was in a stall. Theres nothing that sticks out.

You're missing the real answer, which is "Horse Magic." That's the mysterious power by which a horse in a padded room wrapped in bubble wrap with enya playing the background could still somehow manage to pull a shoe and then stab themselves with the nails right where the saddle rests.
