    Who doesn't love a Fjord?

Okay so my boy is being such a good boy lately I decided he deserved a thread of his own. Don't tell him though, his ego is already big enough.

So a little history would be good right? Ben is a 17 year old, 14.3 hand high Fjord/Arabian cross. Minimal arabian as you will see though. My family got him 9 years ago and have loved him ever since. He was my moms horse for the first 2-3 year we owned him then I upgraded from a 10 hand high pony to him. He was a pleasure riding horse up until last summer when I decided to be serious. So this spring I started getting him in shape and this summer he will be doing pre-entry eventing. So excited. Our first show is this weekend. So without further ado, I give you Little Ben!

From today, about 20 minutes before our lesson.

Smexy halter he got just 3 weeks ago.

Randomly nice day in January. It was like -5 degrees. Odd, I know. You albertans would understand just how odd it is.

First time schooling x-country ever. He rocked my sox off.

Shot by a proffesional who came out that day.

    He's amazing

Do you mind if I steal him? I love fjords but funnily enough, I've never even seen one in Australia.

Awww... Fjordyness! I wouldn't post too many cute pictures. The people of this forum are infamous fjord thieves *Cough, Gigji, Cough*. They are just so cute and somewhat uncommon in the US, particularly the South!

Canada, eh? I only live about an hour and a half from the border. Trust me, darling, you are far from safe. =P

He sure is adorable. We had Fjords at the therapy barn I worked at, and they were the best horses. I sure do miss them. And clipping their manes. =]

Oh my, he is just the cutest thing ever!!!! I want one! I don't think I've ever seen one in Aus either, not even at the equitana breeders village in 2008, wonder if there even are any here. Gidji, maybe you and I should start a importing/breeding program lol. If only I had millions of dollars.

He's actually half arab too. U'd never be able to tell though unless you see him in action when he's excited.

Yeah ricci the therapy barn around here actually tried to buy him a year or two ago but me and my mom wouldn't sell.

I'll totally put up pics from the show this weekend when I get them
