Wikke in his new home

A few photos from his first day at the new boarding stable. These were prior to him jumping out of the pasture...his new mates did not agree with him :P

How old is he now, almost a year? He is bigger every time you post photos. Those are some great shots, good contrast of colors and composition. The subject matter is of course gorgous
Did he jump the fence or go through it?

His birthday is June 15, so he'll be a year very soon! I really need to bring out the stick and measure him again, he's grown quite a bit in 3 months.

What you don't see in these photos is that there is a run-in shed off to the left, which backs on to another field with another small herd of geldings. According to the stable hand who called me, the saddlebred and the pony in the photos pinned him in the shed, he panicked, came racing out and launched right over the stock gate into the next field. So now he's on ITO in a private paddock with taller fences :P I think he was just very unhappy to be in a strange place with strange horses; he's settled in very well, and hopefully we can try him on full turn-out again soon.

He is so handsome! I'm jealous a little - I wish I could get my babies that shiny and good looking.

Thanks for all the compliments...always nice to read when you have one of those "fun" training days like I had today  He's going through a "don't wanna be caught" phase.
