Talking This year's parade. :D (pic overload) plus video

I just wanted to post some pix of this year's Will Roger's day parade. We carried the flags again and Dobe did pretty good. He was fine with the flag and all the sirens but the kids with plastic bags and big gobs of people on each side of the road still make him nervous.

My niece and her horse Snuffy waiting around

My nephew getting his stirrups re-adjusted. He has grown a bit since he last rode Zippo.

Visiting with friends while some others get ready.

A friend getting her horses tacked up and ready to go.

Adjusting the other stirrup.

Posing for a couple of pix while everybody else finished getting ready.

Jason getting the flag adjusted.

Dad adjusting his flag.

Standing around waiting for the cue to start the parade.

After we finally got to start, here we go down the road.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

And holding the honor guard while the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, and the prayer was done.

A pic of the kids following us.

Jason holding the Texas flag. Just a touch of blasphemy since he is from Oklahoma. LOL.

And of course, me and Dobe carrying the American Flag.

Also, here are a couple of videos. The first one is of us getting ready and posing for pix. It is compiled from several different clips. The second one is of the actual parade (turn your sound down, the sirens are loud).
