Your Lacey fix:

(hopefully you can see the pictures, I'm testing a new picture site thingy since Pbucket still hates me)

I'm trying to procrastinate studying for finals so Lacey and I hung out for a long time today.
We went on a nearly 5 mile ride and I think we both had a really nice time.
I've also decided that having a horse in a suburban neighborhood is probably like having a Guide Dog in that EVERYONE stops you and wants to pet your horse and ask you questions about her. Good thing Lacey loves it!

Before we set out:
I am always accidentally perfectly matching my clothes and as you can see, Lacey has become a victim of this matching situation as well. My friends call it a disease. Hahaha!
(Also, that's a new saddlepad. I LOVE it! Somehow it single-handedly solved all the problems I'd been having with Lacey's saddle slipping and everything!)

However, Lacey apparently doesn't like to match as much as I do:

And no pictures from our ride, all the ones I took ended up being really overexposed looking since it's one of those really cold, really sunny sorts of days.

Then, after the ride, the poor poor pony. So overworked, yknow.
Apparently, she sticks her tongue out at being "overworked"...

Pathetic face:
(she was nickering at me the whole time trying to get me to set her free and stop taking so many pictures, hahaha)

And then, yawning.
Not the best photo but funny!

Thanks for looking! :)

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

Oh wow, she's adorable! Love the last pic, it really made me laugh. Wanted to say that your rein colors are amazing 8l I wish I had enough confidence to go with something so bright! Yup, gotta love the neighborhood walks, it's impossible to keep going without stopping for the kids when you see those big eyes staring at the "horsie"

Yayyy!!! Lacey!!!

I love seeing pics of her! She's such a cutie! Procrastinating is something I do very well, and same as you, I always end up going to the barn and spending time there instead of what Im supposed to be doing lol

Thanks Tianimalz! I love me some bright colors. In real life I'm one of those people who's just busting out the bright colors all the time. I'm just lucky that Lacey's gray, she looks good in everything!
Pretty much! We got stopped at least 4 times (all by people 60+ which was cute by itself) because people wanted to pat her, hug her, ask me where we came from, or just tell me that my horse is beautiful. It was adorable.

Csimkunas- Thanks and yay for procrastinating! I still haven't started anything. It's terrible. But what am I supposed to do when my horse NEEDS to be ridden, my cat NEEDS to be played with, I NEED to make food, I NEED to do chores, and then I NEED to make cake? Obviously my school didn't think these things through very thoroughly.

Thanks HorseLovinLady! :)

Thanks Gallop On! I love that blue color on her too! It doesn't hurt that it's my favorite color in general as well. Hahaha!
I know, right? It's actually a ported saddleseat pelham that I found in my tack room and that she goes really well in. So there's a rein to the curb portion of the bit and one to the snaffle portion (I try to use the snaffle 95% of the time, the curb is just for when she gets hot). So there's really only one bit in there, doing 2 jobs. It just looks like a lot! Haha!

Wow, I'm feeling better already. I didn't know what was bothering me, but obviously, it was a lack of Lacey. Thanks for the fix.

Good idea to have the reins of a differnt color.

Anytime MHFQ! I aim to please.
I do too! However, I can't wait for it to flop over and be a short little adorable mane. She looks ridiculously pony-like with a short lil' mane and it's SO cute. Hahaha!

Thanks Paintluver! That's awesome! I love them. I wish they were a smidge longer but yknow. We can just be cool rein twins.

Hahaha Tiny, you crack me up. I'm very glad Lacey and I could help you out! :)
Thanks! It really wasn't intentional but it's turned out to be super helpful to have them be different colors. They're also different widths of rope which is really helpful too.
