Zane and his Mommy playing!

I got some great action shots of Zane, my almost yearling, and his momma Isabelle running around and playing together. They have been separated several months for weaning and I am just now starting to let them interact again. They both run around like idiots bucking and running.

The first ones here are mostly of Isabelle. She's pretty athletic for 17!

Aaah!! Amazing pictures. Looks like they are having so much fun together. I saw your new avatar and my first thought was "Oh, wow, she looks gorgeous!"

Isabelle looks amazing and Zane is growing up so beautifully. He looks so mature.

In that one pic where all 4 feet are off the ground, it looks like Zane is being abducted .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Oh yeah, it does! I should paste in a UFO above him!

His crooked leg has been doing great. Not a lick of trouble so far (knock on wood). You can see how he is running and bearing weight on it in a few of these photos. It seems to do great.

The REALLY good news is, I think we are getting our respect issues worked out too! He has been doing really good lately!

They look like they were having a blast!
Isabelle looks like such a regal lady and she certainly does not look 17!

Fabio - 13 year old Arab/QH gelding
Hazel - 14 year old Angora goat

Atticus - 4 year old LaMancha/Alpine cross goat

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

^^I know and it's so unfair. I have managed to get one picture of Rafe at a lope when I wasn't chasing him and I've never even seen him really buck and play like that. *pouts* He was no fun...just an old stick in the mud like his momma.

But that's okay, I can get my fix for silly colt-ness through Zane .

Hover ponehs!!!

Lol it's ok smrobs sparta is the same way, I can barely get him to trot much less lope.

Zane is Gorgie! And looks so mature, and Isabelle is looking fantastic and full of life herself!

I got worn out just looking at pictures of all this fun!

I can't see any white hairs on Zane - do you think he's going to stay dark, or go grey like his mama? (on his muzzle, that is, not his blaze or his sock...although I did spend more than a few moments transfixed by picture #2 of him...his nostrils look huge in that picture!)
