    First Rescue Horse "Scout"

    Hello Everyone,

    I am new to the forum. I adopted my first rescue horse on Tuesday and boy is it going to be a long haul. He is a 3 year old quarterhorse stallion, and he is EXTREMELY underweight. I initially saw the ad online and the horse that I saw when I showed up to purchase him was not the same horse in the picture. The owner didn't speak any english and he looks as if he hasn't eaten anything in many weeks. The vet came out and said everything looks great except for the fact that he is malnutritioned and his hair will benefit from feeding properly moving forward. I am looking forward to updating everyone on his progress. He is the gentlest stallion i've ever been around. He loads and unloads the trailer like a pro. Everything is great so we're excited to get him fattened back up gradually.

    These were all taken 3/11/2014, this past tuesday, the same day I got him.
