Return of the King

In 2008 a terrible tragedy happened. Most of an entire family died. Remaining family members decided to sell the family's beloved race horse. The beautiful chestnut gelding originally sold for $50,000. The family purchased him in 2006 for $16,000 and did very well with him, winning $84,000 in that last year.

The horse recently ended up with a rescue group, arthritis and an old fracture make him unrideable, but he retains his calm and trusting temperament. The original breeder of the horse has been made aware of the horse's condition, and has volunteered to take the horse back and put him in a pasture. His name is Return of the King.
