So, as some of you know, I'm working on a project horse for my dad's friend. Just riding him and getting him back in shape. I'm not sure how old he is, but he's a Quarter Horse gelding. Lol. But please, critique away on any changes and things I need to work on. I'm very open to suggestions!!

Oh, and his owner took him off the field and I can tell he's a lot less chubby because there isn't as much of a valley through his loins/rump and such, lol!!

Sorry, pic overload!!!

My first day of riding him, lets say it was....um....July 1st. lol

And yesterday, July 23

Hahahaha!! Thanks guys!!

lol! There are no locks on the barn doors!! hehehe

But really, he is the SWEETEST horse you'll ever meet!!! He's such a sucker for getting groomed!! Hahaha! He'll just stand there and let you do anything to him. He just wants all the attention in the world!! And he isn't that old. I'd guess he's about 10 or 12 years old. He doesn't do much--just hangs around the farm with his other buddy, lol. The only time he works is when I come out to ride him!! Hahaha!

Yes, I've noticed that, too. I've been meaning to ask his owner when the farrier is coming out. Thanks for reminding me!!!

The only problem I see with him is the crest in his neck.

My morgan gelding has the same thing, including the trough in his back.

But if you keep riding him he should lose that fat crest in his neck, and keep him off the grass.

Hey guys! Got room for me in the car? He is a really really pretty boy. And good luck with him!
