4 yr. old Belgian/Quarter horse mare.

Hi everyone! This is my new horse. I had to put my boy down so I went in search of another horse and I fell in love with this lovely mare here. She was adopted from the pmu mares as a baby and she's still a baby, I just got her a month ago, she's only 4 years old. I have just started her under saddle and she's doing great. I'm thinking about doing eventing with her. She has a sturdy build and she's very willing.
Tell me what you think of her. Especially people who have draft cross. I was a Morgan person before so I'm not too familiar with the draft cross breeds. Thanks!

No critique here, those aren't the best pictures to critique from, but she's really gorgeous! I love her markings, and she has such a pretty, alert face.

I agree, not the best pix to critique from. It looks like she is a bit cow-hocked which is pretty typical for drafts and draft crosses. Her neck ties in a bit too high for my taste but she more than makes up for it in FLASH. Boy are her markings gorgeous. She is definitely an eye-popper.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
